Eye Clinic Svjetlost, the first health institution in Croatia and region, received the renowned International Star Diamond Award that was presented by Joseph Cinque, the president of the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences. This award is another confirmation of the excellence of the Eye Clinic Svjetlost for the last 20 years of its recognition in the global environment.

The International Star Diamond Award launched in 1949 is a unique program that rewards global excellence and is awarded by the non-profit organization the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences placed in New York. The award for excellence is awarded in the field of medicine, tourism and all sectors of the economy related to service activities.

Eye Clinic Svjetlost, as the first in Croatia and the region, joined the most famous and best selling brands in the world that also received this award. The award ceremony held in Eye Clinic Svjetlost was attended by numerous guests, including Milan Kujundžić,health minister, Milijan Brkić, vice president of the Croatian Parliament and Zagreb City Mayor Milan Bandić.
