Dr. Lovro Sočo at Duke University

Doctor Lovro Sočo, a distinguished specialist at Svjetlost Eye Clinic, participated in the prestigious Fellows Advanced Vitreous Surgery Course at Duke University in the United States of America.
During his stay, Dr. Sočo, alongside his colleague Dr. Vernesa Sofić‑Drino from Svjetlost Eye Clinic Sarajevo, had the opportunity to refine the most advanced surgical techniques in vitreoretinal surgery.

After the formal program, doctor Sočo spent several days at the Duke Eye Center, where he collaborated directly with American colleagues, exchanging experiences and innovative approaches to treating various eye diseases.
This international engagement allowed for further expansion of expert knowledge and strengthening cooperation with leading world centers of ophthalmology.
