Representatives of Johnson & Johnson Vision, led by the regional manager, Mr. Thomas Mullner, awarded professor Gabric, PhD, MD with a recognition for the largest number of implanted multifocal intraocular SYNERGY lenses. Founder of Svjetlost Eye Clinic professor Nikica Gabric has implanted this lens over 2500 times, which makes him the most experienced surgeon for SYNERGY.
After the study for Symfony lenses, the development of Catalys laser for cataract surgery and awarded status of the Center for Education, the new recognition is just another confirmation of the excellence for Svjetlost Eye Clinic being at the very top of world ophthalmology.
Professor Gabric himself underwent the procedure of lens implantation where Synergy was implanted in his left eye and Symfony in his right eye.
