Education

Dr. Ivana Šteta was born in Dubrovnik, where she completed her primary and secondary (grammar school) education.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka in 2024.
After completing her studies, she worked at the Emergency Department of the Dubrovnik General Hospital. Since 2026, she has been an ophthalmology resident at the Svjetlost Special Hospital for Ophthalmology.

Areas of Interest

During her studies, she developed a particular interest in ophthalmology and further pursued professional development through international Erasmus+ programs in Portugal and Slovenia.
She is the author and co-author of several congress abstracts and has completed the Advanced Life Support (ALS) course.
