Education

Doctor Gavrić graduated from the Faculty of medicine in Sarajevo, a specialist exam in ophthalmology she passed at the Department of Ophthalmology of the Central Clinical Hospital Zagreb Rebro.

She completed postgraduate study "Ultrasound in Clinical Medicine" at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zagreb. Subspecialty exam in the field of glaucoma she passed in Zagreb. 

Work area

Doctor Morena Gavrić is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and diagnosis and treatment of certain corneal conditions (keratoconus). Regarding the glaucoma, she uses the most modern diagnostic methods, and in the treatment she uses lasers of which PLT (pattern laser trabeculoplasty) is the newest. In the diagnosis of keratoconus, she applies superior diagnostic equipment, and in the treatment of these diseases she applies Collagen cross linking. 

The introduction of new methods

She was the first one in Croatia who started with the application of selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) in the treatment of glaucoma. She is also the first one who started to apply PLT (pattern laser trabeculoplasty).

Member of the Croatian Society of Ophthalmology and a member of the European Glaucoma Society.
