Biography

Education

Morena Gavrić, MD, graduated from the University of Sarajevo School of Medicine and passed her specialist examination in ophthalmology at the University Hospital Center Zagreb (Rebro).

She completed her postgraduate studies in “Ultrasound in Clinical Medicine” at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb.

She passed her subspecialist exam in glaucoma in Zagreb.

Dr. Morena Gavrić specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of certain corneal conditions (keratoconus).

In glaucoma, she uses the most advanced diagnostic methods, and in treatment, she employs lasers, including the latest PLT (pattern laser trabeculoplasty).

For keratoconus diagnosis, she uses top-tier diagnostic equipment, and for treating the disease, she applies Collagen Crosslinking.

Introduction of New Methods

She was the first in Croatia to implement Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) in glaucoma treatment.

She is also the first to apply PLT (pattern laser trabeculoplasty).

Professional Memberships

She is a member of the Croatian Ophthalmological Society, the Croatian Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery (CSCRS), and the European Glaucoma Society.
