Doctor Ivan Gabrić’s Lectures at Stesi

Ivan Gabrić, MD delivered three significant lectures on innovations in the ophthalmology industry as part of the Ophthalpreneurs Congress held in Stesi, Italy.

The main theme of the congress was how to bring modern ophthalmology closer to patients and better educate them about the availability of services such as laser vision correction and presbyopia surgery.

Ivan Gabrić, MD represented Svjetlost Clinic, a world-leading ophthalmology institution when it comes to the application and development of advanced solutions in ophthalmology.
Today, Svjetlost is a laser vision correction development center for two leading companies: Schwind Eye Tech Solutions and Johnson & Johnson.

New intraocular lenses are also being developed at Svjetlost in collaboration with the Italian company SIFI and Johnson & Johnson in the United States.

During the congress, doctor Gabric showcased his entrepreneurial side by presenting the experience and the option of withdrawing funds from EU for advanced projects, such as the use of artificial intelligence to improve the outcome of eye surgery. Colleagues from around the world got to know more about doctor Ivan Gabric’s work and the potential for innovations in the field of ophthalmology.
