Biography

Education

Emma Grace Orešković, MD, graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in 2021, with a thesis on pluripotent stem cells in regenerative medicine.

During her studies she completed internships at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and at Columbia University, where she worked on recent advances in regenerative biology.

She went on to earn a master’s degree in Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine at University College London, Queen Square Institute of Neurology. Her research there focused on synthesizing personalized biosynthetic corneas with gold nanoparticles, with the aim of improving visual outcomes for diabetic and older patients.

She has co-authored several scientific papers and presented them at international meetings, including those of the British Society of Nanomedicine and the Royal College of Physicians in London, on subjects ranging from drug delivery to new approaches in pain management.
