12th Congress of the Croatian Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery

The 12th Congress of the Croatian Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery (CSCRS) will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the Sheraton Hotel in Zagreb. This one-day congress will present the latest developments in the fields of retinal diseases, refractive surgery, glaucoma, cataract surgery, and refractive lens exchange.

A “WET LAB” will also be organized during the congress, offering participants the opportunity to practice and learn cataract surgery on artificial eyes.

In cooperation with the “Videocatarattarefrattiva” symposium organized by Prof. Lucio Buratto, MD, PhD from Milan, a live surgery broadcast will begin at 3:00 p.m., connecting the Svjetlost Special Hospital for Ophthalmology, Milan, and the Sheraton Hotel in Zagreb. This joint live symposium will feature surgeons from the Svjetlost Clinic and Prof. Buratto’s CAMO Clinic in Milan, as well as the Laser Surgery Center from Cuneo, Piedmont, the Eye Clinic in Athens, and the Marienplatz Eye Clinic in Munich. Their surgeries will be broadcast live from the Svjetlost Clinic to the Sheraton Hotel from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The Prof.Ljiljana Zergollern Čupak, MD, PhD and Krešimir Čupak Foundation will once again present an award for the best research paper by a young ophthalmologist. Ophthalmologists and residents under the age of 35 are invited to submit their work.
