Prof. Dr. Sc. Nikica Gabrić Took Part in the Panel "Sustainable Leadership in the Time of Pandemic"

The panel was held as part of the selection process for Manager of the Year 2021.

Since 1992, the Croatian Association of Managers and Entrepreneurs (CROMA) has, at the end of each business year, awarded equal recognitions to the most successful managers and entrepreneurs in the categories of large, medium, small, public, and foreign companies, as well as an award for the most successful project manager, young manager, and a lifetime achievement award.

In 2018, CROMA presented Professor Nikica Gabrić with the lifetime achievement award, in recognition of the consistently outstanding results of Svjetlost Special Hospital for Ophthalmology, which he heads.

At the panel itself, Professor Nikica Gabrić shared his views on leaders — what qualities they should have and how they are formed. He emphasized that there is a difference between managers, entrepreneurs, and leaders on one hand, and other people on the other: leaders talk about ideas and projects, ordinary people comment on events, and small-minded people comment on other small-minded people.
