3. Can glaucoma be cured by surgery?

Glaucoma cannot be cured by surgery but can be kept under control and slow down the progression of the disease. The patient continues with regular anti-glaucoma drop therapy after surgery.

4. Can I have glaucoma without having high blood pressure?

Yes you can. We definitely recommend coming for glaucoma examination.

5. What is visual field examination for?

A visual field examination is used to determine the indirect functioning of the optic nerve and retina. We check the function of the retina and optic nerve to see if there are any damages.
