The 42nd ESCRS Congress Held in Barcelona

The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), since its founding in 1991, has been the leading society for the education and development of refractive surgeons, advancing and promoting ophthalmology.
Today, the ESCRS has over 7,000 members from 130 countries worldwide.

Thus, it was a special honor to participate in the 42nd ESCRS Congress, which was held this year in Barcelona.
Doctor Ivan Gabrić gave 10 presentations. Notable among them were lectures on the characteristics of the SMART SIGHT platform and the results of the ATOS Femtosecond Laser, and the profession particularly enjoyed the presentation of the world record achieved on the ATOS device.
Doctor Krešimir Gabrić gave 4 presentations, presenting the results of the monofocal premium lens from the prestigious Sifi company.
Assist Prof. Maja Bohač, PhD, MD gave 3 presentations, including a debate among prominent team leaders, as part of the LASIK WetLab, Assist Prof.Bohač, PhD, MD and docrot Mateja Jagić taught their fellow ophthalmologists the skills necessary for performing laser vision correction.
Doctor  Ante Barišić, head of the refractive surgery department and secretary of the CSCRS society, participated in the congress and attended the President’s Dinner.
