Education
Doctor Pašalić graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sarajevo. Upon completion of the internship in duration of one year, he starts specialization in the ophthalmology in 2010 under the mentorship of Professor Nikica Gabrić and Professor Iva Dekaris in the clinic Svjetlost. He passed specialist exam in 2014.
In science education, doctor Pašalić completed postgraduate studies "Biomedicine and Health Science" from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zagreb and at moment he is in the final stage of preparing doctoral dissertation on "The treatment of presbyopia, surgical procedures on the lens vs. surgical procedures on the cornea."
Work area
Doctor Pašalić is specialized in the anterior ocular segment, corneal diseases and refractive surgery.
He performs surgeries of laser vision correction with PRK method, LASIK method with the microkeratome and Femtosecond method of vision correction.
Publications and research
Presbyopia treatment is in the final stage of research as part of the doctoral dissertation "The treatment of presbyopia, surgical procedures on the lens vs. surgical procedures on the cornea."

He is a co-author of several papers in scientific publications and he presented papers at the annual congress of the Croatian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
In 2012, he won the Award of the Foundation of Professor Doctor Ljiljana Zergollern and Krešimir Čupak for the best paper of young ophthalmologists.
